Just under a year ago, I began meeting with a small group of St. Mark members to talk about a new campaign to reduce our debt. We laughed, shared ideas, and even tossed around a few silly names—until we landed on three simple words: Free To Grow. |
I wasn’t prepared for all that God would do through that simple idea. |
The first word is Free. Because of your generosity, we’re already seeing that freedom take shape. Our mortgage, which began this campaign at $2.5M, is now down to $1.366M. Paying off 48% of our debt in just the first four months is a remarkable milestone. Even more meaningful is that 191 individuals and families have participated—reminding us that this is something we’re stepping into together. Thank you for your faithful giving and for standing shoulder to shoulder to make this possible. |
The second word is Grow. We’re already seeing signs of that growth: more children in Sunday and Wednesday St. Mark Kids, increasing participation in our Students and Youth, and continued expansion of our Fridge ministry. We’re also continuing our search for our next Associate Pastor, who will help lead these areas and develop our staff. We’re not in a rush—we’re praying for, and committed to finding, the right person for this role. |
